English Preschool Teacher (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated English Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood centre in Singapore. The role involves planning and delivering engaging English‑language programmes for young learners while fostering a safe and stimulating environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan the class programme in line with the centre’s pedagogy.
• Review and adapt teaching and learning plans to meet diverse child needs.
• Plan child observations and prepare portfolios for summative assessment.
• Implement classroom management strategies that emphasize positive guidance, children’s rights, and diversity.
• Guide assistant teachers to engage children meaningfully.
• Provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for inquiry and exploration.
• Design a quality learning environment with developmentally appropriate materials.
• Evaluate documentation of children’s learning to inform future planning.
• Identify emerging teaching methods, tools, and assistive technologies.
• Collaborate with families to ensure continuity of care and learning.
• Develop outreach activities to promote the centre’s programmes and services.

Required profile

• Diploma in Early Childhood and Education – Teaching (DECCE‑T) minimum.
• At least 4 years of relevant teaching experience.
• Leadership experience is a plus for senior‑teacher roles.
