Equipment Technician – Test & Repair

About the role

The Equipment Technician will support Micron’s manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and testing electro‑mechanical equipment used in the production of advanced memory and storage solutions. The role combines hands‑on mechanical work with electrical diagnostics to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.

Key responsibilities

• Dismantle, adjust, repair and re‑assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, manuals or sketches.
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on non‑functioning equipment.
• Use test and diagnostic tools to conduct equipment check‑outs and verify performance.
• Rebuild manufacturing equipment as needed and implement modifications under engineer guidance.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher (NITEC, Higher NITEC) in Engineering or a related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work in a multifaceted environment.

Required skills
