Experience Design Manager – Founders' Memorial

About the role

The Founders' Memorial is creating a new garden‑museum experience that tells the story of Singapore’s independence. We are looking for a senior‑level Experience Design Manager to lead the development of the immersive "FM by Night" programme and a series of special exhibitions that engage visitors of all ages.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and design the multisensorial "FM by Night" experience, integrating light, sound and multimedia to attract a broad, youth‑focused audience.
• Plan and manage periodic refreshes of the night experience to maintain relevance and repeat visitation.
• Collaborate with education and curatorial teams to map visitor journeys and translate historical content into interactive, accessible exhibitions.
• Identify and work with external partners from diverse industries to deliver innovative exhibition concepts.
• Lead the full exhibition development cycle from research and concept through to delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in experience or exhibition design, preferably within cultural or museum settings.
• Strong ability to work within multidisciplinary teams, including designers, project managers and digital specialists.
• Excellent research skills to interpret historical contexts and craft compelling narratives.
• Leadership capability to manage projects, timelines and stakeholder relationships.
