Footwear Designer

About the role

We are looking for a creative Footwear Designer to lead the development of seasonal collections and drive product innovation. The role blends market insight, design expertise, and close collaboration with technical and sourcing teams to deliver cost‑effective, market‑ready footwear.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and store visits to monitor consumer and competitor behaviour.
• Analyse feedback and sales data to improve product offerings.
• Design and conceptualise seasonal footwear collections that are ergonomic and user‑friendly.
• Create mood boards and hand‑drawn/CAD sketches to communicate design ideas.
• Work with Technical Development and Sourcing teams to ensure designs are cost‑viable and mass‑producible.
• Perform sample checks during buying conferences to maintain design consistency.
• Produce clear specification sheets for prototypes and streamline the merchandise review process.
• Source trendy materials and ideas to keep the brand refreshed.
• Organise team‑building activities and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing or Footwear Design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fashion and footwear design.
• Strong understanding of ladies' footwear products and materials.
• Excellent time‑management skills and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Suite.
• Intermediate skills in CAD or Rhino.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Data analysis capabilities.
