IT Infrastructure Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist to manage and optimise our company’s network, server and cloud environments. The role involves daily administration, troubleshooting and supporting both internal users and external vendors to ensure reliable and secure IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, configure and optimise local and regional networks, servers and cloud platforms.
• Perform installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware, software and network equipment.
• Monitor system performance, resolve Level‑2 incidents and implement technical improvements.
• Act as the escalation point for the helpdesk, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Support IT infrastructure projects, assist the Infrastructure Manager and coordinate with external vendors.
• Create and update SOPs and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with the Cyber Security team to implement secure architectures and execute patch‑management schedules.
• Ensure infrastructure configurations follow industry best practices and company security policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration or network engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and a positive working attitude.

Required skills

• Network routing and switching.
• Windows Server, Active Directory and virtualization technologies.
• Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• End‑user computing support.
• Patch management and familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST and PCI‑DSS v4.0.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, MCSA/MCSE, ITIL, AWS or Azure (strong plus).
