IT Support Specialist

About the role

Arthrex, a global leader in orthopaedic medical devices, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide high‑level end‑user support for workstations, software, peripherals and specialised lab and exhibit equipment. This position requires a minimum of four days per week on‑site at the Biopolis campus.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, printers and other peripheral devices.
• Act as liaison with Global IT and other departments during development, testing and rollout of new products or operating system upgrades.
• Manage IT projects, attend meetings, produce documentation and keep systems up‑to‑date.
• Oversee outsourced end‑user support vendors locally and across the SEA region.
• Provide phone and ticket‑based support, monitor SLA compliance and escalate critical issues.
• Create and maintain status reports, procedures and documentation for end‑user support processes.
• Collaborate with APAC support representatives on technical queries and ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate or bachelor degree in Computer Science or MIS (preferred).
• At least four years of technical or systems support experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Software installation, configuration and OS upgrades.
• Proficiency with ticketing systems and SLA management.
• Vendor management and coordination across regions.
• Project documentation and reporting.
