Logistics Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Administrator to oversee daily transport operations for Brenntag in Singapore. The role involves planning, scheduling and monitoring shipments across a mixed fleet while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily transport operations for prime movers, isotanks, road tankers and package trucks, including terminal booking when required.
• Assign jobs based on vehicle type, driver competency and delivery requirements such as DG/non‑DG, SIC and time windows.
• Optimize routing and fleet utilisation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production and customer service teams on delivery and collection schedules.
• Monitor urgent activations, driver deployment, working hours and compliance with HazMat requirements.
• Liaise with approved transporters, 3PL yards and service providers for tank cleaning, storage and lifting.
• Arrange external transport when internal fleet capacity is insufficient and track 3PL job execution, charges and performance.
• Prepare and verify delivery orders, transport documents and job instructions.
• Create purchase requisitions, perform goods receipt in SAP and update SAP, TMS and Excel trackers.
• Support invoice verification and maintain proper filing of SOPs, work instructions and operational records.
• Ensure all activities comply with LTA, SCDF, NEA and port regulations and support safety procedures.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple transport schedules.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials (DG/HazMat) regulations and driver compliance requirements.
• Experience coordinating with internal teams and external logistics service providers.
• Attention to detail for document preparation, invoice verification and record keeping.
• Ability to identify operational risks and support incident reporting.
