Maintenance Technician III

About the role

Vanderlande is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support the reliable operation of airport baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges. You will work on complex electromechanical and IT‑driven automation equipment, ensuring smooth travel experiences for thousands of passengers each day.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical components of baggage handling systems and boarding bridges, following drawings, manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
• Apply safe work practices at all times, including strict adherence to Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out procedures.
• Execute service calls and respond to urgent system issues.
• Maintain a safe work environment and uphold all safety protocols.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Relevant certifications in electrical or mechanical systems from accredited institutions or OEMs.
• Basic understanding of electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
