Media Production Manager – Army

About the role

You will lead the planning and production of media content for the Army, overseeing both public and internal communications. From concept to post‑production, you will direct the full media workflow, manage timelines and develop the capabilities of your production team.

Key responsibilities

• Generate creative content ideas aligned with current trends for Army media platforms.
• Lead the media production team through concept, pre‑production logistics, on‑ground shooting and post‑editing of footage and photos.
• Provide technical and creative feedback on team outputs and ensure quality standards.
• Conduct in‑house training and up‑skilling for new staff, including Full‑time National Servicemen.
• Liaise with multiple divisions and formations to secure timely content delivery and clearance.

Required profile

• Education in Film, Photography, Communications, New Media, Mass Communication or related field (advantageous).
• At least 2 years of experience in communications, filmmaking or related areas (applicants with no experience may also apply).
• Responsible, committed, professional with strong creative and critical thinking.
• Resourceful, flexible and able to multitask under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration across diverse teams.

Required skills

• Technical expertise in photography and videography.
• Proficiency with post‑editing software, specifically the Adobe Suite.
