Quality Assurance Technician

About the role

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring that product builds meet all specifications, customer expectations, and quality system standards. Working primarily in a clean‑room environment, the role involves independent inspections, audits, and coordination of corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct random, scheduled and unscheduled audits to verify conformance to customer specifications, technical drawings, and company procedures.
• Perform root‑cause analyses on material returns, reviewing documentation and interviewing staff to identify defects or process breakdowns.
• Maintain logs and data on quality metrics, returned material, supplier performance, and non‑conformances for trend analysis.
• Prepare and submit product return documentation to suppliers and monitor corrective‑action responses.
• Assist in developing and maintaining ISO system documentation, including work instructions and departmental policies.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of relevant QA experience in a manufacturing or electronics environment.
• High school graduate; electronics/IT hardware background preferred.
• Certifications: A+ and IPC (or equivalent).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet attendance standards.
• Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and effective communication across all management levels.
