Secondary Teacher – Year 6 (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Australian International School is seeking a passionate Secondary Teacher for Year 6. This fixed‑term position runs from 14 August 2026 to 10 December 2026 and offers the chance to contribute to an international learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Year 6 curriculum in line with IBDP/IGCSE or HSC frameworks, where applicable.
• Engage students through effective communication, multi‑tasking and time‑management.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in the wider school community.

Required profile

• Minimum four‑year recognised teaching qualification (Bachelor’s degree plus Postgraduate Teaching Diploma or Bachelor of Education).
• At least three years of full‑time teaching experience in a recognised educational institution; recent graduates may also be considered.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and work well within a team.
• Experience in an International School setting is advantageous but not essential.
