Security Analyst, Threat Intelligence Operations

About the role

Google is looking for a Security Analyst to join its newly established Threat Intelligence Operations (TIO) team in Singapore. The analyst will contextualize threat intelligence for Alphabet, identifying coverage gaps and strengthening the organization’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Combine public threat reports with internal security data to evaluate coverage gaps.
• Assess defensive and protective capabilities against known threats, including code reviews of detection logic.
• Conduct focused manual threat hunting to validate intelligence.
• Produce high-quality threat assessments and integrate findings into threat catalogues and engineering roadmaps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in cyber security, threat intelligence or threat analysis.
• Experience aggregating intelligence, evaluating coverage gaps, or building threat models.
• Proficiency in automation through coding or scripting and querying data with SQL.
• Fluent English communication skills for cross-team collaboration and advisory publishing.
