Senior Accountant

About the role

Waters Corporation is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. The role involves full‑cycle accounting for multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance across local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts, including journal entries, balance sheets, income statements, and other reporting schedules.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other external stakeholders.
• Support financial governance, compliance, and analysis for both local and global operations.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in a finance function, preferably with exposure to financial and tax reporting.
• Strong knowledge of financial/tax reporting standards and compliance.
• Ability to work independently, multitask under pressure, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
