Senior Accounting Manager

About the role

This senior individual‑contributor position leads financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for Singapore entities. The role ensures statutory compliance, governance and high‑quality financial reporting while partnering with global finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for annual statutory audits, set audit strategy, manage audit cadence and act as senior escalation point for technical accounting and audit queries.
• Maintain compliance with the Singapore Companies Act, ACRA filing requirements and SFRS/SFRS(I) standards, and advise leaders on regulatory impacts.
• Oversee Singapore tax compliance, including CIT returns, ECI, GST filings and withholding tax, and coordinate with global tax and IRAS.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of books, reconcile local records to global ERP systems, and manage period‑end close processes.
• Offer authoritative guidance on complex accounting matters and ensure consistent accounting policies across all Singapore entities.
• Collaborate with enterprise business solutions, global controllership, tax, treasury, legal and business units on entity lifecycle, cash movements and new business models.
• Drive improvements in statutory, tax and data‑protection governance, remediate audit findings and automate compliance workflows.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in statutory audit leadership and compliance for Singapore companies.
• Deep knowledge of the Singapore Companies Act, ACRA requirements and SFRS/SFRS(I) accounting standards.
• Proven track record in Singapore tax compliance, interaction with IRAS and handling tax disputes.
• Strong understanding of ERP system integration and period‑end close processes.
• Ability to partner with global finance, tax, legal and business teams to support entity lifecycle and structural changes.
