Senior Associate – External Audit (Financial Services)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced External Audit professional to join its Audit & Assurance team in Singapore. The Senior Associate will work with a diverse portfolio of financial services clients, delivering high‑quality assurance, accounting, and regulatory advice.

Key responsibilities

• Provide audit, accounting, and regulatory advice, including attest services, to financial services clients.
• Perform assurance and testing work across a range of industries with a focus on banking and insurance.
• Utilise Deloitte’s audit tools, resources, and methodology to deliver tailored solutions.
• Advise clients on complex matters such as IPOs, internal controls, SFRS, IFRS, US GAAP, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with senior team members to ensure engagements meet Deloitte standards and client expectations.
• Execute other duties within the scope of practice as assigned.

Required profile

• Accounting degree or professional qualification recognised by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS).
• 4–7 years of external audit experience, preferably in the Financial Services Industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (SFRS, IFRS, US GAAP).
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements affecting financial institutions.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
