Senior Finance Manager - Finance Controllership

About the role

As a Senior Finance Manager in the Finance Controllership function, you will lead all regional financial matters for Aspire’s Singapore operations and support the global headquarters. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective cash management in a fast‑growing fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for legal entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS, local GAAP and country‑specific regulations.
• Supervise day‑to‑day accounting activities with an outsourced team, including payroll and taxation.
• Coordinate statutory and regulatory audits with a Big 4 audit firm, managing end‑to‑end audit processes.
• Own end‑to‑end financial regulatory submissions for licensed entities, guaranteeing accuracy and timely filing.
• Oversee cash‑flow management, bank reconciliations and client‑fund reporting in partnership with banks.
• Review product finance flows, ensuring proper invoicing, revenue recognition and funding documentation.
• Present financial results to executives, board members, investors and other stakeholders.
• Co‑develop and execute the regional finance strategy with senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Strategy & Planning and Data teams to align data requirements and resolve gaps.
• Implement internal controls to maintain compliance with all financial and statutory regulations.

Required profile

• Strong academic background with a professional accounting qualification.
• 7‑9+ years of post‑qualification experience, preferably in financial services or fintech.
• Proven track record managing finance and accounting teams in a scaling business.
• Experience driving finance automation initiatives.
