Senior IT Auditor (Analyst – Senior Consultant)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced IT Auditor to lead and execute audit engagements across a range of client environments. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, applying analytical expertise to assess IT controls, identify risks, and deliver actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end IT audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Assess the effectiveness of IT general controls, application controls, and technology risk assessments against standards such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, and SOX.
• Perform data analytics using tools like ACL, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL to uncover risks, trends, and anomalies.
• Develop and refine audit analytics scripts, dashboards, and methodologies to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to mitigate identified risks.
• Prepare comprehensive audit findings and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices.

Required profile

• 2–6 years of hands‑on experience in IT audit, including ITGC, application controls, and technology risk assessments.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks (COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, SOX).
• Experience using data‑analytics tools such as ACL, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
