Senior Lead Executive – Community Service & Leadership (Student Development)

About the role

The Student Development Executive (SDE) – Community Service & Leadership is a senior position within the Student Development & Alumni Relations Department at NYP. The role focuses on designing and delivering student development activities, governing student organisations, and acting as a life coach to support holistic learner growth through co‑curricular activities.

Key responsibilities

• Inspire and mobilise learners to engage in social causes and community initiatives aligned with NYP strategic goals.
• Supervise and mentor student leaders in managing CCA clubs and delivering community service programmes.
• Develop and deliver training programmes that foster service‑learning and strengthen leadership skills.
• Lead and mentor students on overseas service‑learning trips of up to two weeks.
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with community partners to drive student engagement.
• Organise and support departmental and institution‑wide projects.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess programme success and implement data‑driven improvements.
• Perform general administrative duties and procurement functions for the department.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in education, service‑learning, event management, or community service.
• Proven track record in planning and organising community service or leadership programmes.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to connect with youths from diverse backgrounds and nurture essential life skills.
• Experience in data management and sustainability reporting is advantageous.
