Senior Supply Chain Buyer – Indirect Materials

About the role

Hyve Solutions is seeking a proactive Senior Supply Chain Buyer to manage the procurement of indirect materials, MRO items, floor stock and consumables for its Singapore PCBA manufacturing operations. The role ensures uninterrupted production by maintaining optimal inventory levels and strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement of indirect materials, MRO supplies, consumables, office supplies, spare parts and floor stock.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehouse, Facilities and Finance teams to meet operational needs.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate pricing and lead times, and evaluate vendor performance.
• Monitor delivery performance, quality issues and inventory levels to minimise production disruptions.
• Create and maintain purchase orders, invoices and procurement records in ERP/MRP systems.
• Escalate and resolve supply‑related issues such as shortages, delays or quality concerns.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on cost savings, inventory optimisation and supplier management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably electronics, EMS, PCBA or high‑tech.
• Strong knowledge of indirect procurement, MRO purchasing and inventory management.
• Proven supplier management, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
