Senior Tax Advisor

About the role

ExxonMobil is looking for a Senior Tax Advisor to join its Asia Pacific Tax Center in Singapore. You will work with a dynamic team of tax professionals, providing strategic tax advice on complex transactions and helping shape tax policy across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and design tax‑efficient corporate structures for existing businesses and new ventures in Asia Pacific.
• Research, analyse and interpret changing tax legislation and assess its impact on the business.
• Review transactions and contracts, delivering timely tax advice and recommendations.
• Establish corporate and financing structures that maximise after‑tax value while ensuring responsible corporate citizenship.
• Defend tax audits and manage tax litigation matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of post‑qualification commercial tax experience in an MNC or major accounting firm.
• Experience across multiple Asia Pacific jurisdictions, with exposure to Australia and Papua New Guinea highly regarded.
• Undergraduate degree in Tax, Accountancy or Finance from a recognised university.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects and collaborate with business and finance managers.
