Tax Manager – 1 Year Contract (APAC)

About the role

This 1‑year contract position offers a Tax Manager the chance to lead APAC tax strategy for a globally recognised technology leader. You will work in a collaborative, technology‑driven environment, influencing business expansion, product launches and cross‑border tax projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory, compliance and reporting support for direct and indirect taxes across APAC entities.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, treasury, public policy, operations and engineering teams on tax implications of new markets, product launches and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor international tax legislation (e.g., BEPS Pillar 2) and assess impact on regional operations.
• Review complex tax filings prepared by external partners to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to cross‑border transaction structuring, investment reviews and respond to regulatory queries or audits.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of APAC tax regulations and international tax developments.
• Experience working with multi‑disciplinary teams and external advisors.
• Ability to analyse legislative changes and translate them into practical guidance.
• Excellent communication skills to advise non‑tax colleagues.
