Technician – Equipment Maintenance & Service

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Technician to support ongoing projects and maintain critical equipment in a hospital environment. The role involves delivering warranty, preventive maintenance, and breakdown services while ensuring compliance with local safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform warranty, preventive maintenance, and breakdown service jobs as assigned.
• Test, commission, and conduct pre‑delivery checks on equipment.
• Assemble equipment and coordinate repairs, quotations, and spare‑part supply with customers.
• Achieve a 4‑10 hour on‑site turnaround during office hours and provide standby support after hours when required.
• Prepare and close job sheets, obtain customer approvals, and work with the invoicing team to ensure accurate billing.
• Adhere to the Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSH Act), GDPMD/ISO procedures, and site risk‑management processes.
• Participate in training, provide feedback to manufacturers, and undertake any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently in a hospital setting.
• Willingness to perform duties after regular office hours and on standby.
• Strong understanding of local safety regulations and ISO quality guidelines.
• Commitment to delivering “right first time” service and aiming for zero complaints.
