2D Product Designer

About the role

ROYAL INSIGNIA is looking for a creative 2D Product Designer to join its design team. You will act as the bridge between design and production, ensuring that concepts are translated into high‑quality, market‑ready products that align with the brand’s luxury lifestyle aesthetic.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce artwork, illustrations, and graphic documents using manual and digital techniques.
• Create 2D drawings and models for 3D presentation purposes.
• Maintain awareness of design trends, materials, techniques and technology, especially within the luxury lifestyle sector.
• Participate in product conceptualisation from idea to final design, recording measurements and specifications.
• Provide strategic insight to improve design processes and generate new design concepts and prototypes.
• Prepare design plans, specification documents, communication materials and samples for production.
• Operate machinery such as laser cutters and flat‑bed printers when required.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Industrial and/or Product Design or a related field.
• Prior experience as a product designer is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and visualisation abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and communicate effectively with design and production teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Photoshop.
• Proficiency with Illustrator.
• Experience using Procreate or other digital sketching software.
• Operating laser cutting equipment.
• Operating flat‑bed printing equipment.
