Accountant – Hybrid (Singapore/Malaysia)

About the role

Altallo, a Singapore‑based real estate investment and fund management firm, is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its finance team. The role is hybrid, supporting day‑to‑day accounting, treasury and operational finance activities across Singapore and Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full or partial set of accounts, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments and journal entries accurately and promptly.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Assist in preparing management accounts, financial statements and reporting packs for review.
• Support GST filing, compliance submissions and liaise with external tax agents, auditors and corporate secretaries.
• Monitor daily cash balances, assist with cash‑flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Track rental income receipts and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Execute operational payments such as vendor payments, payroll and financing obligations.
• Manage corporate banking matters including account openings, maintenance, KYC requests and documentation.
• Maintain proper filing, documentation and financial records to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the broader business as needed.

Required profile

• Strong accounting fundamentals with a good understanding of finance operations.
• Detail‑oriented, organised and able to work independently.
• Proactive and comfortable operating in a lean, fast‑moving environment.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prior experience in real estate, investment or fund management is an advantage.
