Accountant

About the role

Asia Pulp & Paper is seeking a dedicated Accountant to support its rapidly growing Tissues International business in Singapore. You will manage end‑to‑end finance and accounting operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide timely financial insights to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all finance and accounting operations for the Singapore market.
• Prepare full‑set financial statements for statutory reporting and management use.
• Conduct variance and gap analysis to support decision‑making.
• Coordinate the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Develop and present Business Review decks for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the consumer products industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and principles.
• Ability to operate SAP for transaction processing and month‑end closing.
• Solid knowledge of business processes and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical and presentation abilities.
