Back-End Engineer Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Back-End Engineer Trainee to join our development team. This position offers fresh graduates the chance to work on core server‑side services, learn best practices, and contribute to real product features in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server‑side services and core modules with clean architecture and high code quality.
• Design, implement, and maintain APIs for product features, ensuring security, reliability, and performance.
• Participate in requirement analysis and technical solution design, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Integrate third‑party SDKs/services and troubleshoot production issues.
• Research new technologies, write clear technical documentation, and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Game Development, or related fields; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Strong learning agility, ownership mindset, and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin to facilitate communication with HQ and regional R&D/support teams in China.

Required skills

• Backend development fundamentals in at least one of: Go (Golang), PHP (Laravel, Swoole, Phalcon), or Java.
• Solid understanding of OOP, common data structures, basic networking concepts, and debugging.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL; familiarity with Redis is a plus.
• Basic Linux/CLI usage.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, caching, and messaging systems is preferred.
• Ability to use AI‑driven development tools for code generation, testing, and documentation.
