Chinese Student Care Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Chinese Teacher to join our student‑care centre and deliver primary‑school Chinese lessons. The role involves creating a supportive, values‑based environment where children can develop their language skills and overall academic confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Chinese reading, writing, listening and oral lessons for primary‑school students.
• Supervise and guide homework across Chinese, English, Mathematics and Science.
• Maintain a nurturing, structured and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate regularly with parents to support each child’s development.
• Use Chinese fluently to inspire interest and love for the language.
• Uphold the Christian values and principles of the centre.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year teaching experience with primary‑school students.
• Ability to teach all core Chinese language components (reading, writing, listening, speaking).
• Confident in engaging students and explaining concepts clearly.
• Responsible, patient and genuinely passionate about working with children.
