Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

The Cloud DevOps Engineer will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure that supports our enterprise applications. You will work closely with development and operations teams to translate architectural designs into automated, cost‑effective solutions while ensuring compliance with governance and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Manage and monitor cloud environments to guarantee performance, availability, and cost optimisation.
• Automate provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and PowerShell.
• Ensure adherence to governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in incident response, perform root‑cause analysis, and improve remediation processes.
• Develop and continuously improve cloud security protocols and monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate and optimise cloud services.
• Document architecture, automation workflows, and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–7 years of hands‑on experience in cloud computing and infrastructure management.
• Proven experience with automation, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.

Required skills

• AWS and Azure cloud platforms (multi‑cloud exposure preferred).
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates.
• Scripting: PowerShell, Python.
• CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Cloud security and compliance frameworks.
• Monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Sentinel.
• Relevant certifications: AWS Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
