Customer Engineer – SAP Solutions on Google Cloud

About the role

Google Cloud is looking for a Customer Engineer specialized in SAP to help customers migrate and run SAP workloads on Google Cloud Platform. You will work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to showcase the value of Google Cloud for SAP environments and remove technical barriers.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to introduce Google Cloud to prospective customers and partners.
• Explain technical features of Google Cloud and SAP solutions, and troubleshoot roadblocks for SAP workloads on GCP.
• Provide thought leadership and guidance on SAP cloud offerings such as RISE/PCE, SAP BTP, and SAP SaaS.
• Meet with customers to drive business transformation, map success patterns, and create reusable assets.
• Identify SAP‑related industry trends, propose new use cases, and help shape Google Cloud’s SAP strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 6 years of experience as a technical sales engineer or in a customer‑facing professional services/systems engineering role within a cloud computing environment.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP technologies, architecture, and infrastructure requirements.
• Fluent English communication skills.
