DevSecOps Engineer (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Activate Interactive is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join its Singapore team on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. You will help design, build and secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, ensuring rapid, reliable delivery of applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, delivery and deployment.
• Develop reusable automation using Terraform and scripting to support infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Deploy and configure complex IaaS, PaaS and SaaS components across AWS environments.
• Manage and optimise AWS services such as ECS, ECR, Aurora, WAF, Network Firewall, Transit Gateway, ALB and NLB.
• Embed security practices throughout the software lifecycle, including SCA, container scanning, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Build monitoring, alerting and observability solutions, applying SRE concepts like error budgets and SLIs/SLOs.
• Drive infrastructure tasks from planning to production, proactively resolving issues and communicating risks.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant DevSecOps or cloud engineering experience.
• Strong ability to work independently and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Experience with security best practices, incident response and compliance in cloud environments.
