Engineering Specialist – Sputter Process

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Specialist to support our sputter process within hard‑disk media production. You will work in a clean‑room environment, ensuring smooth production flow and compliance with all process specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to the production line, maintaining process flow, specifications, procedures and documentation.
• Monitor process variables and adjust settings as required.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot routine or minor problems quickly and effectively.
• Perform process buy‑off after equipment preventive maintenance or breakdowns.
• Document routine manufacturing processes and prepare shift hand‑over reports.
• Assist process engineers in experiments aimed at process improvement and OEE enhancement.
• Train and certify new personnel on manufacturing systems.
• Support audit preparation activities.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or a related field.
• Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Team player willing to work in a clean‑room environment.
• Available for a 12‑hour day shift (7:30 am – 7:45 pm).
