Finance & Tax Product Manager (12-month contract)

About the role

Temasek is seeking a Finance & Tax Product Manager to lead the implementation, delivery and maintenance of finance and tax systems within its Technology team. This 12‑month fixed‑term role will work closely with the Finance function and external vendors to optimise processes and drive innovative AI‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Spearhead implementation, delivery and ongoing maintenance of finance and tax systems and related projects.
• Partner with the Finance team to review and optimise processes using Workday and AI/ML solutions.
• Manage day‑to‑day system operations, ensuring availability, reliability and performance meet SLA targets.
• Lead roll‑outs of new features, modules and integrations, including AI‑powered tools such as chatbots and document intelligence, overseeing UAT and end‑user training.
• Coordinate with vendor partners, ensuring quality, compliance, data‑privacy and timely issue resolution.
• Identify improvement opportunities and align business requirements with existing architecture.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams in an agile environment.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in IT project management with a strong focus on finance and tax systems.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale technology projects on time and within budget.
• Experience working with finance platforms such as Workday.
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to operate in an agile, cross‑functional team setting.
