About the role
We are looking for a Food & Beverage Commis II to join the Ruby Lounge team at Marina Bay Sands. The role supports the culinary team in daily food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene and presentation for our guests.
Key responsibilities
- Follow directions from Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs, completing assigned tasks within set timeframes.
- Monitor food production to ensure compliance with recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
- Maintain FIFO stock rotation, proper storage and sanitation of all kitchen areas.
- Assist in cleaning and resetting workstations after each service.
- Report maintenance issues, health‑and‑safety concerns and any absences according to procedures.
- Participate in training sessions and uphold the hotel’s grooming and customer‑service standards.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Patisserie or Bakery.
- 1‑3 years of experience in a kitchen, pastry or bakery environment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Professional appearance and strong attention to detail.
