Geography Teacher (Secondary)

About the role

The NUS High School seeks a passionate Geography Teacher to deliver an integrated 6‑year curriculum for high‑ability learners aged 12 to 18. You will inspire students through innovative teaching methods and serve as a mentor for research projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and teach Geography across O‑Level and A‑Level (H2/H3) curricula.
• Adopt innovative pedagogies such as IT‑enabled, differentiated, collaborative and learner‑focused learning.
• Mentor and guide interdisciplinary research projects for secondary students.
• Support the learning and character development of high‑ability students.
• Contribute as a Co‑curricular Activities (CCA) teacher and form‑teacher.

Required profile

• Relevant professional teaching qualification or Post‑Graduate Diploma in Education (or equivalent).
• Competence in teaching Geography up to O‑Level and/or A‑Level H2/H3.
• Passion for the subject and ability to inspire students.
• Experience in teaching Social Studies (Upper Secondary) is advantageous.
• Research experience desirable, with ability to guide Humanities or interdisciplinary projects.
