Head of Technology

About the role

The Head of Technology will act as the architectural anchor and innovation engine for a leading BFSI client, shaping regional technology strategy, software development, and digital transformation across Asian offices.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement emerging AI and automation tools to enhance investment analysis, risk management, and operational efficiency.
• Guide code quality, system design, and data architecture for proprietary platforms supporting critical investment and reporting functions.
• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across all Asia locations while enforcing robust cybersecurity and data‑governance policies.
• Ensure all digital assets and technology deployments comply with evolving APAC regulatory and compliance frameworks.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of technology leadership experience within financial services, asset management or fintech environments.
• Proven ability to review code/architecture and manage complex cloud and DevOps pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience delivering automation and AI/ML workflows in regulated settings.
• Track record of managing teams and navigating compliance across major Asian markets.
