Host/Hostess – Guest Service Expert

About the role

Join the Guest Service team at The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore as a Host/Hostess. You will be the first point of contact for diners, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, manage reservations and waitlists, and escort them to their tables.
• Communicate guest preferences and special requests to the kitchen and service staff.
• Maintain clean and organized host stations, dining areas, and service supplies.
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve minor issues, and ensure timely billing.
• Assist with setting up and resetting tables, and support the team during peak periods.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year of related hospitality experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb unassisted (50 lb with assistance).
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
