About the role
The Human Resources Manager will lead HR activities for overseas subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with headquarters' policies and local labor regulations. This role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution across compensation, recruitment, training, and employee relations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual HR objectives and work plans for each overseas entity.
- Guide companies in establishing comprehensive HR systems, including compensation frameworks, recruitment and grading structures, and training programs.
- Review and optimise existing HR processes to boost efficiency.
- Oversee payroll, performance management, training delivery, labor‑law compliance, and personal income‑tax filings in each country of operation.
- Manage talent acquisition and maintain healthy employee‑employer relationships.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably with experience building HR management systems.
- Strong motivation, communication, coordination, leadership, and decision‑making abilities.
- Hands‑on experience in strategic HR planning, organisational design, compensation & benefits design, performance incentives, and employee training.
- In‑depth knowledge of local labor laws, regulations, and policies.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin.
