IC CAD Engineer (Virtuoso ADE & Spectre Simulation)

About the role

The IC CAD Engineer will support Virtuoso ADE and Spectre simulation tools within a custom design environment. Working independently and with senior CAD team members, you will help enable new technologies, improve existing flows, and ensure timely delivery of design projects.

Key responsibilities

• Handle JIRA cases for Virtuoso ADE and Spectre simulation across multiple sites.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve tool bugs quickly.
• Integrate AI agents to enhance user experience.
• Maintain and improve tool quality through CAD enhancements.
• Develop regression testbenches to safeguard CAD tool and flow stability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams.
• Motivation to learn, tackle challenges and improve processes.

Required skills

• In‑depth experience with Virtuoso ADE and Spectre simulation tools.
• Experience creating Claude AI agents.
• Proficiency in Perl programming.
