IT Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer at AvePoint, you will play a pivotal role in delivering and maintaining application infrastructure services that support public sector digital transformation. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that infrastructure solutions meet business requirements, industry standards, and security best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into robust application infrastructure designs, ensuring availability, capacity, resiliency, security, and continuity.
• Forecast and manage budgets for project initiatives and ongoing maintenance contracts.
• Collaborate with service providers to design, develop, deploy, and configure infrastructure projects that meet confidentiality, availability, and data integrity needs.
• Ensure compliance with technical architecture and infrastructure standards.
• Oversee day‑to‑day delivery and support of application infrastructure services.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to facilitate and deliver seamless application services.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience for Engineer level (or 5 years for Senior Engineer).
• Hands‑on experience with at least one full project development life‑cycle (or three for senior level).
• Strategic thinking combined with the ability to dive into detailed business needs.
• Results‑oriented, customer‑focused mindset with strong communication skills.
• Team player with solid organizational abilities.
