Lecturer – International Trade Business (2‑year contract)

About the role

This is a two‑year contract position as a Lecturer in International Trade Business within the School of Business & Accountancy. You will join a dynamic academic team, delivering both full‑time and part‑time programmes to students and adult learners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver curriculum, including online courses and assessments, for international trade and global business operations.
• Supervise student projects, internships, and industry‑partner collaborations.
• Counsel and mentor students, providing learning support, career guidance, and competition coaching.
• Participate in academic administration, committee work, outreach activities, study trips, and ad‑hoc projects aligned with the school’s mission.
• Plan, lead, manage, and develop industry projects and new development initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of relevant industry experience; teaching or training experience is a plus.
• Passionate educator with a nurturing mindset and strong rapport with learners.
• Team player with excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Creative use of digital tools and tech‑enabled strategies to boost student engagement.
• Confidence in teaching international trade, global business operations, and related topics in PET and CET programmes.
• Access to industry partners or networks is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Knowledge of SAP (preferred).
