Lecturer – Mechatronics & Robotics

About the role

The School of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering seeks a passionate Lecturer to teach Mechatronics and Robotics. You will design curricula, deliver lectures and labs, and mentor both full‑time students and industry learners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver engaging lessons, tutorials and laboratory sessions.
• Keep curricula up‑to‑date with the latest trends in manufacturing, automation and Industry 4.0.
• Provide pastoral care and mentorship to support students’ academic and personal growth.
• Collaborate with industry partners to create internships, projects and learning journeys.
• Participate in course administration and institutional initiatives.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in mechatronics, automation, robotics or Industry 4.0 (fresh graduates with strong training are also welcome).
• Demonstrated ability to build industry collaborations and partnerships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, independent yet a collaborative team player.
