Lecturer / Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor – Experiential Learning

About the role

The Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) seeks experienced academics to join its new Core curriculum as Lecturers, Senior Lecturers or Associate Professors focused on Experiential Learning. You will help shape adaptive, resilient global citizens through interdisciplinary teaching and research.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver core courses using experiential education or service‑learning approaches.
• Provide academic administration and mentorship to students.
• Conduct scholarly or applied research aligned with SUSS’s interdisciplinary focus.
• Engage with industry partners, outreach activities, and collaborative projects.

Required profile

• PhD from a reputable university.
• Disciplinary expertise in science & technology, social sciences/sociology, or interdisciplinary fields such as climate, environment, or public health.
• Minimum five years of relevant teaching and research experience in an academic institution.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
