Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Dubai

About the role

Emirates Engineering is looking for a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join its Dubai team. The role involves performing routine maintenance and defect rectification on commercial aircraft, ensuring all work complies with company standards and aviation regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks following manufacturer and safety procedures.
• Maintain assigned zones/aircraft according to the latest approved technical publications.
• Handle off‑aircraft duties such as spare parts management and documentation.
• Select and use appropriate tooling and equipment for cost‑effective troubleshooting.
• Perform component changes in line with AMM, IPC or manufacturer documentation.
• Adhere to safety rules, maintain housekeeping standards and report deficiencies.
• Communicate operational issues with colleagues, managers and senior engineers.
• Prepare detailed reports on service delays, incidents and accidents.
• Participate in training modules to meet CAR 145 requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent apprenticeship in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a certifying staff engineer in aircraft maintenance.

Required skills

• Interpretation of Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM).
• Use of Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC).
• Operation of aircraft‑specific tooling and equipment.
• Spare parts handling and documentation.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, particularly CAR 145.
