Locum Pharmacist – Part‑Time, $80/hr

About the role

This part‑time locum pharmacist position provides professional oversight of pharmacy operations on an hourly basis. The role ensures compliance with Singapore's Health Sciences Authority (HSA) regulations, including the Controlled Drugs Licence, while offering flexible on‑site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pharmacist oversight in line with HSA regulations, the Poisons Act and the Misuse of Drugs Act.
• Support Controlled Drugs Licence compliance through record‑keeping, storage, and accountability.
• Review and verify controlled drug registers and inventory records during scheduled visits.
• Advise the company on regulatory matters and best practices.
• Conduct periodic on‑site visits (typically weekly or less) and be available for pharmacy‑related consultations.
• Assist with audits, inspections, or regulatory queries from HSA as needed.
• Endorse or review controlled drug documentation and highlight compliance gaps.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC).
• Valid practising certificate.
• Ability to work on a non‑exclusive basis alongside other employment.
• Flexibility to agree on visit schedules that meet business needs.
