Mainframe Systems Administrator

About the role

The role involves managing and programming the bank's Mainframe z/OS environment, ensuring the reliability and performance of critical transaction processing systems. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to support the host platform.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Mainframe CICS and MQ, zSeries hardware, and the z/OS operating system.
• Maintain IBM and third‑party vendor system software across the Mainframe landscape.
• Manage Mainframe storage area networks, attached disk, and tape storage systems.
• Create and maintain the Host Platform technology strategy, architecture, and roadmap.
• Design, install, configure, and deploy host infrastructure solutions.
• Provide project support and Level‑3 troubleshooting for the Host Platform.
• Manage risks, controls, audit support, and perform RCSA activities for the platform.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Mainframe system administration.
• Proven experience with Mainframe CICS, MQ, zSeries hardware, and z/OS.
• Hands‑on experience with IBM and third‑party vendor system software and Mainframe storage solutions.
