Manufacturing Operator I – GeneChip Production

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Manufacturing Operator I to join its GeneChip® probe array production line at the GSD 7 facility in Gul Circle. You will work in a regulated cleanroom environment, ensuring high‑quality output while adhering to strict GMP and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment for GeneChip probe arrays.
• Follow ISO 13485:2003 and 21 CFR Part 820 procedures and report any non‑compliance.
• Handle, store, and dispose of chemicals safely according to SOPs.
• Maintain cleanroom housekeeping, use required PPE, and report spills or incidents immediately.
• Communicate tool downtime, product defects, and safety concerns to Manufacturing Engineers and Team Leaders.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education or NTC in an engineering‑related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom setting.
• Ability to lift 40 lb without assistance and stand for full shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
