Manufacturing Specialist (Operator)

About the role

The Manufacturing Specialist (Operator) supports Qualcomm's production lines by performing system transactions, operating vacuum sealing and taping equipment, and ensuring that all packaging meets quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Oracle system transactions for order entry and update process information.
• Operate vacuum sealing machines, affix labels, insert desiccants and HICs, and perform dry packing.
• Verify sealing quality, fold MBBs, and conduct final labeling and packing checks.
• Run taping machines (e.g., TR48MK‑V), set up components, adjust parameters, and perform peel‑force tests.
• Handle component placement in carrier tape and conduct visual inspections for orientation and sealing quality.
• Label reels accurately, complete production logs, and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Maintain good housekeeping at the workstation and perform ad‑hoc tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to transport and install equipment weighing at least 25 lbs.
• Commitment to follow company policies, security, and confidentiality requirements.

Required skills

• Vacuum sealing machine operation.
• Taping machine operation (TR48MK‑V) and parameter adjustment.
• Peel‑force testing.
• Visual inspection of component placement and sealing quality.
• Equipment cleaning and routine maintenance.
