Manufacturing Technician

About the role

Excelitas is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join its production team. You will support daily operations in a high‑tech environment, ensuring machines run smoothly and output data is accurately recorded.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily output data and submit reports to the shift leader.
• Set up machines during part changeovers and ensure they are warmed up before the shift starts.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
• Attend the daily morning briefing and provide status updates on all machines.
• Communicate machine status to the next shift during handover.
• Report any scrap, technical issues, or machine faults that could affect delivery.
• Maximise utilisation of assigned equipment.

Required profile

• GCE ‘O’ Level or Technical Certificate (or higher).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform machine set‑up independently.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Willingness to work shift schedules when required.
