Operations Head

About the role

The Operations Head leads the daily operations of Wealth (Private Banking), Treasury, Trade Finance and Loan functions for the Singapore branch. This senior position ensures efficient, compliant service delivery while aligning teams with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across Wealth, Treasury, Trade Finance and Loan divisions.
• Approve and verify transactions within policy and authority limits.
• Ensure compliance with MAS, BSP and internal regulatory requirements.
• Monitor operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and improve workflows.
• Manage staff alignment, manpower planning, career development and performance.
• Review internal audit findings, implement rectifications and respond to audit requests.
• Oversee IT infrastructure and systems supporting operations, working closely with the IT team on enhancements and UAT.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field.
• 7‑15 years of branch banking experience with strong operational management background.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• High integrity, adaptability and ability to work independently under pressure.
• Singaporean or Permanent Resident preferred.
