Procurement Business Partner

About the role

The Procurement Business Partner will work closely with business units to manage the end‑to‑end source‑to‑contract process for the bank’s purchases across all spend categories. The role ensures compliance with internal policies, drives best‑value outcomes, and supports system enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead source‑to‑contract activities, including RFQ/RFP preparation and supplier evaluation.
• Conduct supplier due diligence, onboarding, and third‑party risk assessments.
• Negotiate contracts to achieve savings targets and support approval documentation.
• Develop category strategies in collaboration with Group Procurement.
• Maintain vendor relationships and manage e‑procurement system onboarding.
• Provide reporting on savings, workload, ESG, and other management metrics.
• Support current system enhancements and assist with new system implementation (2027/28).

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related field.
• 3‑5 years of procurement experience, preferably in a centralized or large organization.
• Relevant certifications in Procurement, Contract Law, Supply Chain Management, Sustainability or Negotiations are a plus.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and communication skills with high ethical standards.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with e‑procurement platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa.
• Advanced use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
